Jackie’s story: The email came into my inbox and the timing was perfect, because I knew I could do with a bit of something, didn’t know what, but I booked myself on. The only thing that attracted me was that it was Paul and Chrissie. I didn’t even read properly what it was about. Just thought, yeah, that’ll be fun, that’ll be interesting, I’m going. The programme was held by two very experienced people who were very laid back, who weren’t rigid against a timetable, and I feel they held our hands through this journey that was a bit eclectic – lots of different ideas and that was important to me. Because if someone had said I have the doctrine and this is what we are going to pursue, I would have been cynical, but because they went across a spectrum of things that I had dabbled in and trusted, I enjoyed it. So what has shifted? A stone and a half has shifted! I have given up my job! And I’ve also really looked back on how tired I was. What has shifted has been emotional.
